UK Fellowship Regarding the Next Generation and Pre-Poland Conference Preparation

We would like to warmly invite you to join us for a one-day time of fellowship for the parents, serving ones and burdened saints labouring with the children, young people and university students including the university students themselves.

This will be our second year to have this time to strengthen our realisation that the work with the next generation is one field, one labour and has the unique goal of building up the church as the Body of Christ. We will be spending this time together to review the “Next Generation” fellowship given after the recent ITERO and consider how to go forwards over the coming year.

We will also have a time specifically to prepare for the upcoming Poland Conference and we recommend that everyone who will serve with the young people during the Poland Conference would come to this time.

Child care will only be available informally with the parents helping out with the children for one session each.

Messages and Outline for the recent UK Fellowship Regarding the Next Generation

This fellowship was an enjoyable time together including parents, serving ones and many different burdened saints labouring with the children, young people and university students including the university students themselves.

We thank the Lord that we are serving together in the great family of God to raise up the next generation. During our fellowship we were touched to see that the work with the next generation is one field, one labour and has the unique goal of building up the church as the Body of Christ.

There were three meetings which included listening to fellowship, local reports, overflow, and questions and responses. Read more and download the mp3’s and outlines for this time here.

UK Fellowship Regarding the Next Generation

Dear Saints:

We would like to warmly invite you to join us for a one-day time of fellowship for the parents, serving ones and burdened saints labouring with the children, young people and university students including the university students themselves. We have been very touched recently to see that the work with the next generation is one field, one labour and has the unique goal of building up the church as the Body of Christ. The pillars of such a work are therefore the same 4 pillars we have been enjoying for the building of the Church – Truth, Life, the Church and the Gospel.

We will be spending this time together to review the “Next Generation” fellowship given after the recent ITERO and consider how to go forwards over the coming year. We will also have a time specifically to prepare for the upcoming Poland Conference.

We recommend that everyone who will serve with the young people during the Poland Conference would come to this time.

We will again spend part of the time in the word, the ministry and the recent fellowship regarding the young people and we will also spend some time to share one another’s situations and experiences and pray for one another.

“Brothers, I say again, the Lord has a great need for the young people. This generation needs many young people to rise up in a strong way to receive the Lord’s salvation and be led by the Lord to become useful vessels in His hands. May the Lord be gracious to us that in His work and in the church we will treasure the souls of the young people. Not only will we not hinder them or damage them, but we will aggressively attract them, perfect them, lead them, and cultivate them so that they will experience the Lord’s salvation and receive the Lord’s building up to become useful ones in the Lord’s hands. I truly hope that all the brothers and sisters will pray faithfully for this matter before the Lord for the future of the Lord’s work.” (How to Lead the Young People – W.Lee)

One-day perfecting training for the serving ones, parents, and burdened saints

When: Saturday 21st May
Where: The Corner Cottage, 8 Westwood Heath Road, CV4 8GP, Coventry, UK
Queries: ypconf@ukypw.org

Schedule:

11:00 to 12:30:                   Meeting 1

15:00 to 15:30                    Break

15:30 to 17:00                    Meeting 3

Cost: £5 (to cover printing and meal)

We hope to gather together the burdened saints on a regular basis throughout the year to dive into the ministry and the recent fellowship regarding the children and young people and also to spend some time to share one another’s situations and experiences and pray for one another.

We have recently enjoyed seeing that the emphasis of a genuine work with the young people is personal contact. Through this personal contact, the young people will be perfected and raised up to be our “co-workers” who have a normal living of preaching the gospel in their schools without us ever needing to set foot there.

We need to be aggressive and learn how to preach the gospel in a school without ever setting foot in the school. A brother serving with the young people in a locality should find out if there are any brothers or sisters in his target school…The co-worker must work on the young brother until the young brother is raised up. The co-worker should not go to the school; rather, he must work on a young brother until the young brother is more zealous and more serious about the work than the co-worker is. Thus, even if the co-worker would stop serving, the young brother would continue to believe and work. The work must become the young brother’s and no longer the work of the co-worker. Then the co-worker has achieved his goal. (Shepherding the Church and Perfecting the Young People, pp. 87-88)

May we all cooperate in this burden to pray and shepherd the young people with this view.

Registration: Register online for this time of training here.

Help Needed for Truth School Clean Up

We would REALLY appreciate help from at least 40 saints on Saturday 1st January to clean up Bower House after the Winter School of Truth.

It’s an opportunity for everyone to blend and at the same time put things back for the next term of the training. Service will involve tasks such as cleaning cars, bathrooms, hoovering, moving furniture, resetting chairs etc. Even if you were not able to serve in the Truth School itself, you can come and participate in this way. These serving times together are precious.

We will begin at 10am, lunch and dinner will be provided. Please come as early as you can, and any amount of time you can give us will be valuable. Thank you saints

Please click here and fill in the form to let us know you are coming
