We will again spend part of the time in the word, the ministry and the recent fellowship regarding the young people and we will also spend some time to share one another’s situations and experiences and pray for one another.

“Brothers, I say again, the Lord has a great need for the young people. This generation needs many young people to rise up in a strong way to receive the Lord’s salvation and be led by the Lord to become useful vessels in His hands. May the Lord be gracious to us that in His work and in the church we will treasure the souls of the young people. Not only will we not hinder them or damage them, but we will aggressively attract them, perfect them, lead them, and cultivate them so that they will experience the Lord’s salvation and receive the Lord’s building up to become useful ones in the Lord’s hands. I truly hope that all the brothers and sisters will pray faithfully for this matter before the Lord for the future of the Lord’s work.” (How to Lead the Young People – W.Lee)

One day event for Yr 7-9 Young People: Go Ape!

On Saturday, June 18th 2011 we are having a one day event for the young people who are currently in year 7 to year 9. We will spend most of the day in the Black Park Country near Uxbridge where they have a “Go Ape” adventure park which is a collection of tree top walk ways, zip wires, rope ladders etc. Later we will go back to a nearby home for some singing and a time to enjoy the Lord and a BBQ. For anyone who feels that “Go Ape” is not for them, the park itself is very beautiful with a lake and many walkways.

This is a great opportunity to invite any of your friends who you have been praying for.

Cost: The price for the day for the young people is £25 – £20 for the “Go Ape” and £5 to cover the price of a picnic lunch and the BBQ. The price for accompanying adults is £35 (“Go Ape” cost for 18+ is £30). If you are not taking part in the “Go Ape” the price is just £5 for the food.
